There is nothing like simple oven baked barbeque chicken just like mom made when I was little. Just my opinion but bone in chicken is so much better than boneless. Always seems to have more flavor and be moister than boneless. Growing up in my day there was not a whole lot of BBQ-sauces to chose from you either used Kraft brand or made your own. Today there are many many choices to choose from maybe to many! But for me I think I found a rising star that I think is really good and is likely to soon be very well known. How To Make Barbeque Chicken In The Oven
First step is choosing a good BBQ-Sauce for your oven baked barbeque chicken. Here I would like to introduce you to sauce that is Unique and Extraordinary! A real get your mouth watering for more BBQ-Sauce! Check it out HERE and give it a try, You will be glad you did! Then pick out your chicken. For me I like a variety of pieces all bone in of course and skin on. But you can do boneless and skinless if you prefer. I recommend bone in and skin on for better flavor and moistness.
Second step- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. and line a baking pan with foil for easier clean up.
Third step- Is take your chicken breast and place them in your baking pan slightly spaced apart from each other. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Then place in the oven for about 10 minutes at 425 F. just until juices start to appear.
Forth step- Then lower the temperature to 375 degrees F. and coat the chicken real good with BBQ-Sauce and bake for 20 minutes.
Then turn all the chicken over and coat with your favorite BBQ-Sauce one more time and bake for another 15-20 minutes. This would be a good time to prepare any side dishes you would like to have along with your chicken.
